The Dežru Spec-S coilover system is engineered specifically for the Porsche 996 platform, a lighter and more analog rear-engine 911 that benefits enormously from modern damping control and carefully selected spring rates. Designed around the 996’s suspension geometry, rear weight bias, and real-world driving demands, the Spec-S delivers improved stability, sharper response, and greater confidence without sacrificing everyday usability.

Developed for drivers who daily their 996 but still enjoy spirited street driving, mountain roads, and occasional HPDE track days, the Spec-S features digressive piston valving that provides strong low-speed chassis support during braking, turn-in, and transitions, while remaining compliant over rough pavement and surface imperfections. Rather than chasing stiffness, this setup targets a balanced ride frequency in the ~1.9–2.2 Hz range, preserving the classic 911 feel while significantly improving control.

Fixed-length damper bodies paired with a 25–30 mm adjustable lowered ride height ensure proper suspension stroke and geometry are maintained. This approach preserves usable bump travel and predictable roll behavior, keeping the 996 composed and confidence-inspiring under both daily driving and aggressive use.

Dežru Performance Suspension warrants that the product will perform substantially in accordance with the specifications set forth in the documentation provided with it. The above express warranties are made for a period of the lesser of 12,000 miles or 36 months from the date the product is installed in your vehicle. Any improper use, operation beyond capacity, substitution or addition of parts not approved by Dežru Suspension in writing, any alteration or repair by others, or any removal, defacing or altering of the identification shall void this warranty. There is no warranty on high-performance or race related parts due to the nature of usage.
