Dežru Spec-RS • Track First 2011-2019 Ford Fiesta / Fiesta ST

Sharper response, stronger chassis support, and confidence at the limit.

Engineered around the Fiesta's lightweight front-drive dynamics, the Dežru Spec-RS delivers firm, communicative damping and improved mid-corner stability for drivers who demand more precision from their street and track setup.

Digressive pistons (track focused) Consistent damping under heat Improved turn-in and rotation Calibrated for Fiesta chassis balance

Dežru Spec-RS Coilovers – 2011-2019 Ford Fiesta

The Dežru Spec-RS coilover system transforms the 2011-2019 Ford Fiesta into a sharper, more composed performance machine. Built for drivers who push their cars beyond daily commuting, the Spec-RS provides the chassis control and feedback needed for aggressive street driving, autocross, and regular track use.

Developed using instrumented shock dyno testing and extensive road evaluation, the Spec-RS features digressive piston valving that delivers strong chassis support under braking and cornering loads while maintaining the compliance necessary for imperfect pavement. The result is a suspension that feels planted and communicative without becoming harsh or unpredictable.

The system is calibrated around a slightly more aggressive spring package of 325 lb/in front and 300 lb/in rear, offering noticeably improved roll control and stability compared to typical street setups such as 250/225. This balance works exceptionally well with the Fiesta's lightweight chassis and front-drive layout, producing confident turn-in and improved traction when exiting corners.

With fixed-length damper bodies and a 30–45 mm adjustable lowered ride height, the Spec-RS maintains proper suspension stroke and geometry. This ensures the car retains usable travel and predictable handling even when lowered for improved aesthetics and performance.

Key Features

  • Digressive inverted monotube dampers deliver strong low-speed damping for improved turn-in, braking stability, and chassis control.
  • Track-calibrated valving provides excellent support during sustained cornering and repeated high-load driving.
  • External reservoirs on the rear shocks keeps performance consistent.
  • Fixed-length damper bodies with 30–45 mm adjustable lowered ride height maintain proper suspension stroke and geometry.
  • Adjustable damping allows drivers to fine-tune the ride between daily street use and track-focused performance.
  • 325 lb/in front & 300 lb/in rear spring rates optimized for spirited driving, autocross, and moderate track sessions.
  • Linear performance springs provide predictable load transfer and consistent response throughout the corner.
  • Pillowball front top mounts improve steering feedback and maintain precise alignment under load.
  • Hand-assembled, dyno-matched dampers ensure consistent left-right damping balance.

Performance Character

The Spec-RS enhances the Fiesta's natural agility with significantly improved body control and steering precision. Turn-in becomes sharper, transitions are more controlled, and mid-corner stability increases dramatically compared to factory suspension or basic street coilovers.

The digressive damping curve provides firm support during compression events such as braking and corner entry, while maintaining smooth rebound control that allows the tires to stay planted over uneven pavement.

Expect a flatter, more responsive driving experience with the confidence to attack corners harder and carry more speed through technical sections while still maintaining a ride quality suitable for daily driving.

Why We Recommend 325 lb/in Front & 300 lb/in Rear for the 2011–2019 Ford Fiesta

The Ford Fiesta is a lightweight, front-wheel-drive platform with strong front-end weight bias and a naturally playful chassis. While the factory setup is fun, it’s tuned for comfort and safety, which results in body roll, front-end dive, and understeer when driven at higher limits.

Our 325 / 300 spring rate setup is designed specifically for Spec-RS, where the goal is increased precision, higher limits of grip, and sharper response for aggressive street driving, autocross, and track use.

By increasing spring rate in both the front and rear, we significantly improve chassis control and reduce excess movement. The 325 lb/in front spring provides the support needed to handle braking loads and high-speed corner entry, keeping the front end composed and responsive under demanding conditions.

In the rear, the 300 lb/in spring is carefully chosen to balance the chassis without making the car unstable. A slightly softer rear relative to the front helps maintain traction while still allowing the car to rotate effectively, giving the driver more control at the limit.

The result is a setup that:

  • Significantly reduces body roll and brake dive
  • Improves precision and steering response
  • Increases stability during aggressive driving
  • Enhances rotation without compromising control

This setup is designed to work with our more aggressive Spec-RS valving, which provides strong low-speed damping and increased high-speed control. Together, the spring and damping package delivers a more direct, connected feel, allowing the driver to push the car with confidence.

Compared to the more comfort-focused Spec-S setup (250 / 225), this configuration prioritizes performance and feedback, making it ideal for drivers who want a sharper, more track-capable Fiesta without stepping into overly harsh or unpredictable territory.

Overall, 325 front / 300 rear gives the Fiesta a more precise, planted, and performance-oriented character, unlocking the chassis’ full potential for spirited and competitive driving.
